
Bae Soo-bin (Korean: 배수빈), born Yoon Tae-wook on December 9, 1976, is a respected South Korean actor known for his compelling performances in both television dramas and films since his debut in 2002. He has built a reputation for expertly portraying a wide range of characters, from righteous historical figures to complex antagonists. Bae Soo-bin initially began his acting career in 2002 with the Chinese drama The Proof of Memories before successfully transitioning to the Korean screen. Bae Soo-bin achieved widespread recognition for his work in the late 2000s and early 2010s, solidifying his status as a key supporting and leading actor. One of his most notable roles was Park Jun-se from Brilliant Legacy (2009), the kind and devoted one-sided love interest. The success of this drama led to him winning a Top 10 Stars Award at the SBS Drama Awards. He played the lead role of Soo-young in Mai Ratima (2013), which won the Jury Prize at the Deauville Asian Film Festival.
