Sunil Perera (1952–2021) was a legendary Sri Lankan musician, vocalist, and the iconic leader of the band The Gypsies. Often called the "Baila Cakrawarti" (Emperor of Baila), he was a transformative figure in Sri Lankan music, known for his humorous yet socially conscious lyrics and high-energy performances.
